Yoga For Beginners

A course for anyone wanting to start a yoga practice in a sustainable, nurturing and safe way. I will bring you through my understanding of yoga as a form of keeping the body healthy through movement, and how to create a practice that is sustainable in the long run. If you already have a yoga practice this course is a gem as it will bring you back to the basics and perhaps remind you of why you started doing yoga in the first place. 

The structure of the course is workshop based so that there will be space for questions and answers throughout the full 4 weeks. The focus will be on basic understanding of alignment, the importance of individual practice (and alignment), as well as pranayama (breathing) exercises. Throughout the course you will gain strength, flexibility, focus, better balance, overall well-being within yourself as well as the necessary confidence to start attending regular classes. You will also get an option of a handout of a few basic sequences and info from the course that you can take with you for when you can't get to a studio.

WHEN: Wednesdays + Fridays (26th + 28th April, 3rd, 5th, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th May)
TIMES: Wednesdays 19.00 - 20.30 + Fridays 17.30 - 19.00
